Man caught his wife in bed with another woman (True Story)

WHILE it may be many men’s dream, when Fred discovered his wife of 17  years and mother of his two children in bed with another woman, joining in the ‘fun’ was the furthest thing from his mind, even though his friends still won’t quit teasing him about it.

“I may be different from other men, because I have friends who tell me I was joking because I should have just joined the both of them,” he said.

“But to tell you the truth, when I saw them my heart sank and my desire disappeared.”

He said the situation affected him so much that his blood pressure could not be stabilised for a long time.

“My doctor kept giving me tablets until at one time I was taking four different blood pressure tablets. This is a woman I married after I lost my first wife tragically, and I have always treated my women with due respect and love. Always.  I don’t act as if I own her. I have always given her freedom.”

He said giving her too much freedom could possibly be one of the reasons that led her to get involved with another woman.

Fred discovered his wife’s extramarital affair four years ago and has since been trying to salvage his marriage. The first thing he did was seek counselling.

“And you extend the love a little further by giving her the benefit of the doubt,” he said. “I was told by a Reverend that once those things happen there is seldom any return [to normalcy]. And I am not about having threesomes. Because when I said ‘I do’, I said it to one person, not she and friend,” he said. “So based on what I was told that there is never usually any return, I allowed it to run a course hoping that in time she would realise that this was not her. Because it’s more than one woman I know who has been that way and have reverted.”

What has made the situation worse for Fred  is the fact that he was the one who introduced his wife to her new partner.

“They always seemed very affectionate towards each other,” he explained. “And she would come to the house. On one or two occasions I would see them kissing at the back door just before she departed. And on another occasion I was home and the girl was there and the two of them were in the room locked up. I don’t remember where the children were at that time. I got curious. Above our room door is a design pattern, so I climbed up on a chair and looked through the pattern and I saw the girl kissing her breast. They were both in the bed naked. I took a picture of it because that is where I started gathering evidence. So from that time I started thinking about separation.

“I have held on now for four years just trying to give it enough time to see if it would change,” he said. “I even said to her, ‘I will work with you through this’. She used to sleep out on weekends. But she said she didn’t want a divorce. We have two small children and she would be missing on weekends, leaving her children and husband.

“After counselling and trying to work this thing out with her I said, ‘Listen, you are so caught up in this thing and can’t let go, I would rather you let the girl come and visit you here so you can be with the kids rather than leave them home alone all weekend’. It was a bitter pill for me to swallow because I had to endure the two of them locked up in the room and I didn’t disturb them. So for that you can call me a big frigging idiot or a ‘maama’ man – call me anything you want. But that was all in trying to lend support. Because it was not like I was there and watching her. They were locked up in the room and I was in the other room with the children.”

James said the situation is so traumatic for him that if he now sees an attractive woman naked he cannot get an erection.

“That is how much this thing has affected me, and it’s not because of the tablets that I am taking. I’m just totally crushed and demotivated,” he said.

He believes part of his wife’s reason for her affair is that he spent so much time working and trying to care for her and the family that he may not have shown her enough love.

He said though he has  exercised as much patience and understanding as possible and tried to be supportive to her, this is not the best idea and he is not thinking of filing for a divorce.

“A gentleman supports his wife in many forms and things that you know you share. Life is about sharing, but my sharing now is viewed as negative because I’m being told I behave like Mr Perfect. So right now I don’t have a wife. I’m not sleeping with my wife but I still have to be mature and approach the subject the best way I can.”

Now this was not written by Dat a Gwaan suh nuh cuss bout di Poor English. However I had to share this because da yute yah love publicity stunt gone to bed

DANCEHALL ARTIST JAMARLEY GUTHRIE MORE POPULAR KNOWN TO THE PUBLIC AS GAZA NANA OR NANA ICE has reported

to the media about treats from the Jamaican Constabulary force J.C.F [the Jamaican police] saying he’s now a person of

Interest to the M.I.T MAJOR INVESTAGATION TASK FORCE and the next WANTED list to be put out by the JAMAICAN Police

will include his name

“I am now worried for my life and my freedom” said GAZA NANA , “I DON’T KNOW WHAT I COULD HAVE DONE FOR THE

POLICE TO BE INTRESTED IN ME”. “I HAVE NEVER BEEN CONVICTED OF ANY THING BUT IVE BEEN ARRESTED FOR A NUMBER

OF MINOR THINGS AS AN HIGH SCHOOL STUDIENT, BUT SINCE 2010 IVE NEVER BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW SO WHY

AM I A TARGET TO M.I.T NOW”? “SINCE WE FORMED GAZA NEXT GENERATION GNG TO CONTINUE THE GAZA LEGACY I

Since the conviction of Entertainer/KING OF THE DANCEHALL Adidja VYBZ KARTEL Palmer and fellow member of the Gaza

removing pictures and graphitic writings associated with GAZA EMPIRE AND VYBZ KARTEL

“MAYBE THEY JUST WANN GET RID OF THE GAZA IN JAMAICA” GAZA NANA says, cause even one of the members of Gaza NG

was apart of the Jamaica Constabulary Force island wide tour that goes into schools/ Communities to put on small concert

say he can no longer take part on there tours so it seems as if we are ENEMIES or THREATH to Jamaican Police and Society

the system just hates anybody associated with GAZA IT seems to me that they really went and build evidence against ADDI

and all they say about him isn’t true cause if I just have the name GAZA NEXT GENERATION and they want to put my name

on wanted list WHAT WOULDN’T THE JAMAICAN POLICE DO? GAZA NANA said,

“I just want the world to know that we the GAZA NEXT GENERATION are Decent citizens of Jamaica we are no criminals and

Cashtastic Deported back to Jamaica

United Kingdom rapper Cashtastic is trying to come to grips with life in Jamaica following his deportation last week by UK Border Agency (UKBA), which claims there are inconsistencies with his documents.

Cashtastic, born Cashief Nichols, has been living in the UK for more than 14 years after migrating from Jamaica to live with his mother at the tender age of six.

The rapper's deportation came just months after he had inked a publishing deal with internationally renowned label Universal Records. The artiste also disclosed in an interview that he had a major record deal on the table. However, he was waiting on the right time to sign.

Cashtastic feels he is a victim of injustice and has made several attempts to have the decision of the UKBA reversed.

He also told BBC Newsbeat recently that he considers the UK his rightful home.

"I'm born in Jamaica,, but the UK's my home. What I need is for something to be done so I can return properly and get some form of justice," the 20-year-old said.

The rapper, who is known for social commentary singles such as Life on The EdgeMy Life and Running, told the media he is finding it difficult to adjust to life in Jamaica.

Culture shock

"Everything is just a culture shock. It's nothing to what I expected. It's like me going to Japan or something. It's literally me going to somewhere I've got no knowledge of," he said.

As a result of his issues with the border agency, the rapper was forced to cancel several appearances in the UK, which also happens to be the strongest market for his music.

One of those missed opportunities was to attend the premiere of his latest effort, Life On The Edge, on Mistajam's '1Xtra' show.

The rapper is hoping that the UKBA will reconsider its decision to eject him from the country and is also very optimistic that his prayers will be answered.

An avid social networker, Cashtastic has been posting videos to his Instagram account showing his fans parts of the reality which he is now faced with in Jamaica. He also posted messages to his fans on Twitter and Instagram encouraging them to keep supporting his music while he works out his 'situation'.

BLESSED AND FAVOURED

"Anywhere in the world that I am, I will always be blessed and highly favoured. A lot of people are happy about what happened to me, but I ain't even worried about them because there's even more people who are being supportive and showing love. God bless everyone who's supporting me throughout this journey of mine. I want you all to know that I'm okay. I've got an even bigger story to translate through my music, documentary, books and movie. So let's not just look at the negative side of the situation. Remember ... this is not a problem ... it's only a situation and situations can get solved," Cashtastic wrote.

The biggest market for rap music is in the United States. However, the UK is gradually carving out a market for itself within its borders.

Several UK rappers have achieved relative success even outside of the United Kingdom, such as Chipmunk, who has collaborated with Mavado, and Chris Brown and Tinie Tempah, who have worked with Wiz Khalifa.

It is uncertain if Cashtastic will thrive as a rapper living in Jamaica. The island has bred several rappers such as Five Steez, Nadz and KK Holiday, among others. However, none have achieved commercial success.

Several UK-based artistes have also shown support for the artiste and are begging for leniency on his behalf.

According to Kano, one of those artistes, "He has lived here since the age of six and is now a role model, tax-paying professional in the music industry. This is wrong."

Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm Issues Statements still claiming their innocence

Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm, the two most recognized names in the murder trial, has issued a statement on their lengthy sentences.

The two dancehall stars released handwritten notes thanking their fans and families but maintain their innocence.

Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, was sentenced to 35 years to life imprisonment for the August 16, 2011 murder of Clive "Lizard" Williams.

Shawn Storm, real name Shawn Campbell, was sentenced to life also but will be eligible for parole in 25 years.

The other two men Kahira Jones and Andre St John were given 25 and 30 years respectively before being eligible for parole.

In his handwritten note, Vybz Kartel says he did not kill Clive Williams.

"I would first like to again reiterate that I never killed Clive Williams nor did I order his killing," the statement reads. "To my family I want to say thank you for being there for me. Equally to my fans whose unremitting support matters to me! Bless, Kartel."

Vybz-Kartel-sentence-statement.jpg

Shawn Storm also maintained his innocence in Clive Williams murder.

He also thank his fans and family for their support and assured them that he is doing good.

"To the fans and fams I am an innocent man and I am just saying I am good and in great health and spirit," Shawn Storm said. "So from me to the fans and ma fams and my mother, daughter and family I am confident that in the long run I will be vindicated."

The four men are currently serving their life sentence at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre.

Vybz Kartel lawyers are already moving to file an appeal on behalf of the dancehall star

Calvin Haye (Moonnie ) suing the Government for False imprisonment

Fashion designer Calvin Haye, who was charged jointly with Vybz Kartel for murder is now seeking damages for false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.

Haye was freed on November 14 last year after the prosecution said it had no evidence against him.

The fashion designer, also called 'Monnine' is contending that he was charged by the police without just reason and that has suffered irreparable damage.

His attorney, Sean Kinghorn, told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that he wrote to the Attorney General Patrick Atkinson today outlining the content of his client’s suit.

Haye is also seeking damages for breaches of his constitutional rights.

The lawyer says his client who is being treated at a medical facility, suffered psychological distress from the incarceration.

The State has been given 21 days in which to respond to the claim.

Haye was first arrested in October 2011 and granted bail on January 13 last year.

Kartel and three others who were charged with Haye have since been found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Hard Labour for the GAZA Don

Image

Vybz Kartel will be doing lot of ploughing, bushing and sanitation work in prison.

The deejay who was yesterday sentenced to life at hard labour in the Supreme Court is expected to engage in ploughing, bushing and sanitation work to fulfill the hard labour of his sentence

In an exclusive interview the Department of Correctional Services Project Manager, Vanna Lawrence explains.

The 38 year old dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel will be eligible for parole in 35 years when he’s 73 years old.

Vanna Lawrence Department of Correctional Services Project Manager further explains.

The other men convicted are also facing life sentences.

Fellow entertainer Shawn Storm is eligible for parole in 25 years so too is Kahira Jones while Andre St. John will be eligible in 30 years.

Vybz Kartel, Shawn Storm, Kahira Jones and Andre St. John were found guilty on March 13 for the murder of Clive Lizard Williams following 65 days of trial.

Shane Williams was the only one found not guilty.

Vybz Kartel and Shawn Storm in messages to family and fans following their sentences have maintained their innocence.

Kartel’s attorneys have already started the appeal process.

No Recordings from Kartel

Convicted dancehall entertainer Vybz Kartel has no plans to record music while he is serving his 35-year prison sentence.

That revelation by his attorney, Tom Tavares-Finson, came hours after the entertainer and three men were each sentenced in the Home Circuit Court to life imprisonment for the August 2011 murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.

"He has no intention of recording while in custody," Tavares-Finson told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Last Thursday, Justice Lennox Campbell postponed the sentencing to allow defence attorneys to give their input and for enquiries as to whether the entertainer will be allowed to record music while behind bars.

ridiculous proposition

"That is the most ridiculous proposition I have ever heard that he [Kartel] should be given authority to record while in custody," Tavares-Finson said.

"The person was not convicted to do music, he was convicted to do hard labour," he added.

Kartel, 38, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, becomes eligible for parole after he has served 35 years.

Fellow entertainer 35-year-old Shawn Campbell, popularly known as 'Shawn Storm', and 27-year-old Kahira Jones will serve 25 years before they can apply for parole, while 26-year-old barber André St John, otherwise called 'Mad Suss', is to serve 30 years before he can be eligible for parole.

Lawyers for all four men say they will be appealing the convictions and sentences and Christian Tavares-Finson said they expect this to be done by the end of the year.

In handing down the sentence, Campbell said he took into consideration "there was a great deal of premeditation" in Williams' death.

Will Kartel Still Be Making Songs After Sentencing

Sentencing in the Vybz Kartel trial has been put on hold until April 3rd, 2014.

The judge in this case stated he wanted to find out if someone with such talent as Vybz Kartel is allowed to continue making music while imprisoned.

He further declared he wanted to know if there was any policy in which he could make an order for the proceeds of the recordings to go towards the estate of the deceased "Clive 'Lizard' Williams".

What does this mean for the popular DJ or the future of his music?

Let's say the judge allows him to record but does not allow him to accept proceeds for the recordings. How can the courts stop Vybz Kartels family from collecting unreported funds on his behalf?

If all proceeds do end up as restitution to the family of "Clive 'Lizard' Williams" do you believe the 'World Boss' will continue to release hit tracks?

La Lewis is Offering Cash Reward For Return of Lizard

Dancehall enigma L.A Lewis and his associates say they are putting up a cash reward for the whereabouts or return of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.

According to the controversial enigma, persons are claiming to have seen Lizard in Ocho Rios on more than one occasion.

"We have the warrant out because people have been approaching us saying they saw Lizard in Ocho Rios. We have been working behind the scene with Gaza Federation and we feel like the evidence used to convict Vybz Kartel was tampered with. They have no blood stain, nor forensic evidence, so we thought this would have been a pushover case, but the results were shocking to the world," L.A Lewis said.

L.A Lewis says any person who can bring Lizard in to the police will be paid $1.6 million.

"Vybz Kartel is innocent and right now international people are saying Jamaica's court system is foolishness because there is no way you should convict a man with tampered evidence. These police should know that Vybz Kartel is a part of the illuminati and whosoever is against the illuminati cannot prosper. Money is not the issue for us because people are willing to contribute to see Worl' Boss free," he said.

The talkative entertainer said some Jamaican artistes are happy to see Kartel's demise because they want to become relevant. However, the Gaza camp will not fall as he (LA Lewis) will lead through his Gaza Federation body.

"A same suh dem did put fool fool case pon mi and wah charge mi fi graffiti after mi fans dem write up mi name pon wall. How yu fi charge a man for something that was done by the fans," L.A Lewis said.

Persons who have seen Lizard are being asked to contact the nearest police station or email gazafederation@gmail.com and trillionairerecords@gmail.com.

"Lizard nuh dead, man. Is a man wey wanted by both police and shottas so him nah guh show himself. Yu wudda show yourself? Then look how long the United States did think sey Busy Signal dead and him did alive under a next identity. A di same thing wid Lizard," L.A Lewis said.

Barrington Levy Says Dancehall Has Taken a Turn For A Worst

Barrington-levy-reggae-artiste-jamaica.jpgThroughout 2014, music lovers have seen a sharp increase in hardcore sexual content and imagery within Dancehall, with the likes of Alkaline, Demarco, Ricky Carty and J Amsterdam pushing boundaries with eyebrow-raising material to gauge interest from fans. One legendary artist is sick of this growing trend.

Barrington Levy, singer of classics such asBroader Than Broadway, Under Mi Sensi and countless others says he is tired of the X-rated nature that the genre has taken on and thinks it has damaged its credibility.

In an interview published in the Jamaica Observer on Tuesday, Levy said, "I see where the music business is taking a turn for the worst. It's going in a direction where we are losing it."
"These people have no morals anymore. Are we going to do anything for money? I never came into the music business just to sell records. I thought I would just sing for the love of it."

In another interview with the Jamaica Gleaner, Levy was more solutions-oriented, pointing to a lack of positive influence as the reason why young artists choose to ratchet up the shock value in their musical content.
"They are surrounded by a lot of hotheads that cannot steer them in the right direction," he said. "People are talking about them and their songs, but not in a good way. As entertainers, we need to always set a good example for the future of music."
"Surround yourself with good people, people who will lead you in the right direction, people that will help you make good career choices that will ensure longevity and international success."

Dancehall has long contained specks of raunchiness and hardcore sexual content throughout its near four decades of existence, with artists such as Lady Saw and Vybz Kartelbringing said content to the forefront and becoming all-time greats as a result.

In 2014, however, X-rated content has reached another level and sparked much conversation within the Jamaican music industry, with Alkaline and J Amsterdamboldly speaking on topics of anal stimulation and giving oral sex respectively, to Ricky Carty's infamous music video for his song,Gyal Tek It in which he had sex with a woman on camera while performing the song.
Meanwhile, Levy is set to release a new acoustic album with variations of his biggest hits. He is currently promoting his new hit single, Rosie.

Pree the Gleaner Report

Justice Lennox Campbell this afternoon asked the 11-member jury at the Vybz Kartel murder trial to consider the text message
attributed to the entertainer’s phone which stated that Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams was chopped up like mince meat.

Justice Campbell said based on the language the author must be of the view that ‘lizard’ was not going to return.

The judge said one way to look at it was that it spoke to disposal and the author must have known that it was unlikely for lizard to surface after sending that text message.

He remarked that it would be a most uncouth police who would have made up such a text message unless he knew for a fact that lizard would not return.

The judge made the comment as he reviewed the evidence of Detective Sergeant Patrick Linton who retrieved text messages, voice notes and images from a cellphone said to belong to Kartel.

Justice Campbell reminded the jury that the defence had argued that the text messages were manipulated and tampered with.

He also told them that the defence had suggested to Linton that someone else had access to phone and that he put material on the phone.

Justice Campbell told the jury that it is for them to decide whether someone interfered with the phone while it was in the custody of the police.

He also told them that they must look at what all the text messages are saying and see how they can assist them in their decision.

Kartel and Kahira Jones, Shane Williams, André St John, and entertainer Shawn Campbell, also called Shawn Storm are on trial for Williams’ August 2011 murder.

He was allegedly killed over two missing guns.

Fyah Bun fi portmore freak artist

Dancehall singjay J Amsterdam has created history as the first Jamaican dancehall artiste to record and release songs admitting to having performed oral sex.

According to the Portmore-based singjay, who is currently promoting oral sex in his single Gyal Come Wine Inna Mi Face, he is the Messiah for oral sex practitioners.

"Dancehall has reached a place where it is now ripe for a male artiste to come out and explicitly reveal his liking and preference for oral sex because a lot of females in the dancehall space and clubs are enjoying getting oral sex. I consider myself the Messiah for the freaks. There is a stereotype in dancehall. That is why many male artistes who are doing oral sex don't have the courage to come out, but I have the courage. I am a strong, motivated person, and that is why I decided to come out to express my preference for that lifestyle because it is a good lifestyle and it is a trendy topic in dancehall," J Amsterdam said.

The Gyal Come Wine Inna Mi Face singer says he wants to be known as 'the freaky artiste.'

"The persons in dancehall who are doing it are cowards, and so I am carrying this mantle, and from here on, I want to be known as the freaky artiste. I want to be the voice of those men who enjoy giving oral sex, and I want to be the voice of those females who enjoy receiving oral sex," he said.

glorifying the practice

J Amsterdam says Vybz Kartel helped to revolutionise Jamaica's view on oral sex, and he is now taking it a step further by glorifying the sexual practice in his songs.

"While there are people who demonise it, I am going to glorify it. Many marriages survive because of oral sex and many people get the nookie because of it," he said.

The artiste also saidthat he is prepared for the backlash that he will receive for his pro-oral sex music. J Amsterdam believes there exists a market for music about oral sex and has singled out female dancehall artistes like Tiana, Destiny Sparta, D'Angel, Angelina, and Ce'Cile as 'freaky' recording artistes with whom he wants to collaborate.

"This opens the doors for bookings. If you have a freaky show, just call J Amsterdam, 856-2491, or emailjesseamsterdam@yahoo.com. I think adult clubs will benefit tremendously from me. I know there is a market for me out there, andCome Wine Inna Mi Face is the first of many to come. Right now, I am unsigned because of lack of financial support, but I will be a force to be reckoned with," J Amsterdam said.

The singjay currently has songs like Tongue Ring, No Panty Day, Please Put Your Chocolate in My Mouth, and Champagne Kisses.

J Amsterdam is also encouraging actor Bad Boy Trevor to start a record label with a freaky name, as well as host an event called Come Wine Inna Mi Face Wednesdays, hosted by him, (J Amsterdam).

"How can you not love a woman in a very short mini-skirt and you walking on your knees and able to just creep up from behind her and give her a doggy style (oral sex). that's like the slammer - having that big chocolate booty twerking in your face," J Amsterdam said with a laugh.

Alty B Releases New Single NoBody

Aiming to take the music world by storm, one lyric at a time, Real Entertainment Productions recording artist, Alty B, is back in the spotlight, releasing his first single for 2014 entitled Nobody.

This song, produced by Smokeshop Studios, showcases the epitome of a rags to riches type story, as Alty B speaks of the hypocrisy shown by people once a relatively unknown name gains some sort of recognition.

Voiced on a beat combining dancehall and reggae elements, Nobody points out the struggles and a whole heap of blood, sweat and tears it took for the singjay to gain respect in his industry while warning others in a similar situation to watch his or her surroundings that much more when success comes calling.

Nobody has already found favour in his native Jamaica, with radio stations across the island playing the single in rotation. Alty B's flow and straight-shooting lyrics make this song a worthy listen given its ability to relate to so many people who go through this everyday experience.
Alty B landed his biggest mainstream hit thus far after combining with fellow singer, Richie Loop, for their collaborative effort, Island Girl. The song was a hit with several local TV and radio stations while also gaining heavy rotation in his home base in the Greater Toronto Area and across Canada. Other notable 2013 singles from the REP artist, who is currently being managed by Andrew Lee Pryce, included Bubble Fi Me (featuring Cubanis), Leaving You (featuring Ebony Royal) and Woman I Need You, a combination with Jah Cube.

Look out for the official video for Nobody in the near future as well as the single on iTunes, distributed by Johnny Wonder and Hapilos 21st. This is the first of many things to come from this rising sensation throughout 2014 and the foreseeable future.

Flippa Maffia 4 More People Charged

FLIPPA MAFFIA UPDATE – Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman announced that a Jamaican recording artist and his brother were charged as leaders and 13 others were charged as co-conspirators in a first-degree indictment returned today against an international drug ring that used the U.S. Mail and other parcel delivery services to ship multiple kilograms of cocaine from California into New Jersey.

The alleged ringleader, Andrew K. Davis, 35, Flippa Maffia, and his brother, Kemar Davis,Kemar Maffia 23, are each charged in a state grand jury indictment with leading a narcotics trafficking network, a first-degree crime that carries a sentence of 25 years to life in state prison. They face additional first-degree counts of conspiracy, distribution of cocaine and money laundering, each carrying a sentence of 10 to 20 years in state prison.

The other 13 defendants are charged with first-degree conspiracy to distribute cocaine and launder money. Twelve of them also are charged with first-degree distribution of cocaine. The indictment was obtained by the Division of Criminal Justice Gangs & Organized Crime Bureau. The charges are the result of “Operation Next Day Air,” a multi-agency investigation led by the New Jersey State Police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Division of Criminal Justice.

The investigation began in March 2011 and targeted the ring’s shipment of large quantities of cocaine through parcel delivery services to New Jersey for bulk distribution to other narcotics suppliers and dealers. Andrew Davis allegedly led the organization’s drug trafficking activities from various locations in Jamaica, California and New Jersey, with the help of his brother Kemar. In the course of the investigation, detectives recovered more than 26 kilograms of cocaine, worth approximately $780,000, two handguns, and more than $600,000 in cash.

“We put a stop shipment on this international cocaine ring through this long-term investigation involving the cooperative work of all levels of law enforcement,” said New Jersey Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman. “By interdicting these major suppliers, we are substantially reducing the quantity of narcotics reaching New Jersey’s streets and protecting our residents from the violence that invariably accompanies drug dealing.”

“When detectives intercepted eight kilos of cocaine at the start of this investigation, they didn’t jump to make arrests and tout a major drug seizure. Instead, they stepped back and built a far-reaching case that took down all of the key players in this drug syndicate,” said Director Elie Honig of the Division of Criminal Justice. “This indictment is a testament to the outstanding work of all of the agencies that collaborated in this case.”

“An international criminal conspiracy of this magnitude required an equally large law enforcement response,” said Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent of the New Jersey State Police. “A cooperative effort involving multiple agencies was instrumental in taking down this organization, and I would like to commend all of the dedicated investigators for their hard work.”

“The dismantlement of this international drug trafficking organization is a great success for law enforcement, and our communities are safer as a result of this investigation,” said Carl J. Kotowski, Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration, New Jersey Division. “The DEA and our law enforcement partners will continue to pursue drug violators wherever the investigation leads us.”

The investigation began in March 2011, when detectives and agents from the Camden High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office seized two packages from a mail facility in Marlton, N.J., allegedly destined for receipt by Andrew Davis and Marsha G. Bernard, 32, of Cherry Hill, N.J. Each package contained four kilograms of cocaine.

In December 2012, both Andrew and Kemar Davis traveled to Jamaica. Andrew remained in Jamaica, but he allegedly continued to control the drug ring’s activities by directing Kemar and others. Kemar returned to the U.S. and oversaw the shipment of kilogram quantities of cocaine from California to New Jersey. Bernard and other defendants allegedly received the drugs and distributed them to drug traffickers in New Jersey, under the direction of the Davis brothers. Most of the purchasers bought kilogram quantities of cocaine from the Davis organization. Bernard allegedly handled the drug proceeds, sending them to Andrew Davis in Jamaica and Kemar Davis in California.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives documented meetings allegedly involving the transfer of multiple kilograms of cocaine among Bernard and the following additional defendants:
◾Shellyann A. Brown, 34
◾Sidonie S. McLeod, 28
◾James C. McBride, 41
◾Angel R. Rivera, 33
◾Juan M. Cortez 41

On March 11, 2013, Rivera and Cortez were arrested after investigators observed Bernard deliver a package containing approximately one kilogram of cocaine to them in Cherry Hill. They allegedly hid the cocaine in a secret compartment in Rivera’s vehicle. A stolen handgun was later recovered from Rivera’s residence.

On March 15, 2013 State Police detectives and DEA agents coordinated additional arrests in Operation Next Day Air as a significant shipment of cocaine arrived from California. The execution of multiple search and arrest warrants in Cherry Hill and Mt. Laurel resulted in the arrests of Bernard, Brown, McLeod, and McBride. McLeod and McBride were arrested in Cherry Hill after McLeod allegedly delivered three kilograms of cocaine to McBride, which were seized by the State Police. That same day, DEA agents arrested Kemar Davis in Los Angeles, California. Another defendant, Hioka N. Myrie, 33, of Philadelphia, surrendered to detectives on May 14, 2013. Andrew Davis was arrested in Los Angeles on Sept. 16, 2013 by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

One identified fugitive and five unidentified defendants also are charged in the indictment. Because those defendants are being sought by law enforcement, no information is being released on them.

Fourteen of the fifteen defendants, are charged with first-degree conspiracy and first-degree distribution of cocaine. Andrew Davis, Kemar Davis, Bernard, and McLeod also are charged with first-degree money laundering. Rivera is charged with second-degree possession of a weapon as a convicted felon.

Deputy Attorney General Julia S. Glass presented the case to the state grand jury for the Division of Criminal Justice Gangs & Organized Crime Bureau. Detective Sgt. Erik Hoffman of the New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit was the lead case agent on this investigation.

The first-degree charge of leading a narcotics trafficking network carries a sentence of 25 years to life in state prison and a fine of up to $750,000. The other first-degree charges carry a sentence of 10 to 20 years in state prison and criminal fines of up to $500,000 for the money laundering and cocaine distribution charges, and up to $200,000 for the conspiracy charge. The second-degree charge of possession of a gun as a convicted felon carries a sentence of up to 10 years in state prison, including five years of mandatory parole ineligibility, and a fine of up to $150,000.

The indictment is merely an accusation and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The indictment was handed up to Superior Court Judge Mary C. Jacobson in Mercer County, who assigned it to Camden County, where the defendants will be ordered to appear for arraignment at a later date.
