'I’ve had sex with eight men even though I know I’ve got herpes'

A RECKLESS teenager told by doctors that she had one of the worst cases of herpes they had ever seen has confessed to sexing EIGHT lovers since she was diagnosed.

Astonishingly, misguided Marquita Church, 19, thinks it’s her right to sleep around without taking precautions.
The student said: “The majority of guys ask to NOT use a condom — so I don’t feel bad.
“Most don’t ask about my sexual history and if they do, they don’t care. It’s their responsibility as much as mine.
“I love sex so I’ve slept with eight men since my diagnosis without protection.”
Scarily, she added: “It’s probably silly and reckless, but life is too short to give up things you love — and I love sex.”
Marquita, from Newquay, Cornwall, caught herpes from one of her many partners three years ago when she was just 16.
She still carries the virus and can pass it on through sex — especially if she is suffering a flare-up of symptoms at the time.
Marquita, who became sexually active at 14 and is on the Pill, told how doctors diagnosed a severe case of herpes when she was taken ill — just two months after being treated for chlamydia.
She woke one morning with with a stinging red rash all over her genital area and legs. By the end of the day the entire area was covered in blisters.
She added: “Two days later I had a sky-high temperature, I couldn’t wee and my bladder was swollen. I felt so unwell.”

Marquita’s worried parents took her to hospital, where a doctor recognised herpes — and said the sores had become infected.

The teenager recalled: “He told me it was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. It had spread to my bladder, bowels, digestive tract and even my throat.
“He told me the herpes virus would be in my system for life and that I can pass it on to anyone I have sex with. He also said that I was most infectious when the symptoms show and for six weeks afterwards.”
When she was allowed home from hospital a few days later, her parents were silent.
She said: “They were clearly disappointed and I felt bad. I couldn’t imagine ever having sex again. I felt cheap and dirty.”
That didn’t last long.
Three months later Marquita — who says she is allergic to ordinary latex condoms — was back having unprotected sex.
She said: “I got my libido back and managed to get with my conquest at a party. The non-latex condoms are just too expensive so I didn’t bother being careful. At the crucial moment, I asked him whether he minded not using one and he said no.
“That was when I realised most guys don’t care and I slipped back into my old habits.”
Marquita’s symptoms have flared up a few times and she says she then avoids sex for six weeks.
But she revealed: “Since being diagnosed, I have slept with eight men and nobody has ever come back and said I’ve given it to them. I have always given the men the opportunity to say no.
“For most guys, it seems that sex with me is worth the risk.”
Marquita, who says she has had 25 sexual partners, is dismissive of the problems herpes could cause if she gets pregnant.
There is an increased risk of miscarriage — and if she has a flare-up at the time of birth she would need a Caesarean to avoid a risk of the baby going blind.
She said: “I don’t worry about that yet. If it turns out I can’t have kids, I’ll deal with it. There are other options — surrogate mums, fostering, adopting. I am not going to stress about it yet.”
Marquita now has a boyfriend who she has been seeing for three months. She claimed: “It doesn’t bother him — but we practise safe sex to protect him.”

Rihanna complains of lack of sex

Rihanna has confessed that she has been lacking action in the bedroom and that the lack of sex has contributed to some of her songs. The Barbadian superstar admitted that the “naughty thoughts” she was having due to the lack of sexual activity contributed to the writing process for her Speak That Speak album.

The “Umbrella” singer mentioned that she was not sexually active at the time the album was created and that the lack of physical intimacy was reflected via the album’s music and song lyrics. The album characteristics songs which includes “We Found Love” and “Watch n’ Understand.”

The music video for “We Located Love” featured former model and boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy as the singer’s on display really like. The song is upbeat and the video came below fire for its evident sexual overtones and implied drug use. “Watch n’ Learn” features lyrics referencing a quantity of approaches in which Rihanna would “do it, do it, do it.”
Rihanna’s mainstream profession came in 2006 with the release of her hit song “Pon De Replay.” Numerous hit singles followed like “Unfaithful,” “Umbrella,” “Disturbia,” and “California King Bed.” RiRi has openly admitted to possessing a spicy, fearless mindset when in among the sheets.

The superstar performer also admitted she believes that “sex is energy.”

Bunny Wailer Upset about Bob Marley Documentary

BUNNY Wailer, the surviving member of The Wailers, is unhappy with certain aspects of the just-released documentary, Marley.

For Wailer, who was one of the main voices in the Kevin MacDonald-directed film, Rastafari — a central theme in the life and 'livity' of Bob Marley — was not given its rightful and respectful place in the production.

He told the Sunday Observer via telephone that he agreed to be part of the production based on the fact that Bob Marley's eldest son, Ziggy, was executive producer. Therefore, it was felt that this would allow for a true picture of the reggae icon.

However, Wailer's hopes were dashed when he attended a pre-release screening and saw the final cut.

In the hour-and-a-half-long documentary, Wailer offered viewers personal insights and anecdotes into the life of Bob Marley. In his signature style, Wailer is articulate and witty as he paints a picture of the man who rose to superstardom in the late 1970s and died of cancer in 1981 at age 36.

Inspired by the 1966 visit to Jamaica by Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie, Marley would spread the word of Rastafari through his music and this, Wailer believes, should have been given more focus in the documentary.

"Rastafari was what Robert Marley sang about all his life. Rasta music is the legacy he has left us. When I looked, I did not see an emphasis on Rasta — our faith, His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie and the influence these had on the man Robert Marley," said an incensed Wailer.

"I was not pleased with that," he added.

Although disgruntled, Bunny Wailer still decided to give Marley's local premiere on April 19 inside Emancipation Park, St Andrew, his full support.But all that would change just hours before the start of the event.He said just before leaving for the event, he was informed of the use of the Ethiopian

tri-colour — red, green and gold — as a carpet. This is a symbol revered within Rastafari.

"As a Rasta, I felt disrespected."

His voice raised a few notches, highlighting his anger.

"I was not comfortable with the fact that they had Rasta colours on the ground... it turned me off and I decided not to attend the event," Wailer said.

This latest development only served to compound his previous concerns that Rastafari was being downplayed in the celebration of the life of Bob Marley.

"It is all very troublesome and upsetting that all of this took place. How are they going to fix this?" he questioned.

He lays the blame for this flag faux pas squarely at the feet of Bob Marley's widow Rita, his daughter Cedella and Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records which distributed several of Marley's albums.

"This was a total disgrace and I am happy I was not there to witness what Rita, Cedella and Chris Blackwell did to the memory of my brother. It was filthy and dirty and I could never be involved in anything like this. How are we going to heal? I don't understand Rita," an angry Bunny Wailer stated.

Marley's music career as a member of The Wailers began in 1964 when he joined forces with friend Neville 'Bunny Wailer' Livingston and Winston 'Peter Tosh' McIntosh.

They recorded several ska and hardcore reggae songs before Tosh and Wailer left for solo careers in 1973.

Kartel trial starts May 22

THE ganja trial of dancehall artiste Adidjah Palmer, popularly known as Vybz Kartel, is scheduled to begin in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on May 22 after a three-month delay.

The new trial date was scheduled on Monday in the absence of the jailed deejay who was not brought to court.

Resident Magistrate Maxine Ellis, who is presiding over the matter, gave instructions for a writ to be isued for Palmer to be released from the facility where he is being kept and be present in court on the next date.

Kartel was charged with possession of ganja last November after police raided a hotel in New Kingston and reportedly found the ganja in a room occupied by the artiste.

In the meantime Palmer is to appear before the Home Circuit Court on Friday in relation to the murders of Barrington ‘Bossie’ Bryan and Clive Williams otherwise called ‘Lizard’.

On Friday it is expected that the defense lawyers in the case relating to Williams will be in possession of audio and video evidence which Justice Marjorie Cole-Smith asked prosecution to release.

Police allege that Williams was taken to a house in Havendale, St Andrew last August where he was beaten and stabbed to death over the disappearance of an illegal firearm.

According to investigators there are telephone data and forensic material connecting Kartel to Williams murder. Deejay, Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, fashion designer, Calvin Haye, Cayro Jones, Sean Williams, and Andre St John are also charged in the matter.

In the other matter Bryan was reportedly shot dead while standing among a group of persons in Gregory Park, St Catherine, in July last year. Kartel is charged along with Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald.

Apparently as a result of Quick Cook cheffing around Popcaans enemy Demarco he has been kicked out of the Gaza Camp. Quick Cook was in Demarcos recent Video "Kingston City" popcaan Diss, shortly after the video was released he made an video statement claiming he was an innocent man in Demarco and Popcaans fued and he never knew the video Demarco put him in was  a Popcaan diss. It look like Quick Cook just a cook inna everybody pot right now ...
