Jamaican men dressed as women arrested by Lottery Scam Task Force at club in St Ann

An early-morning joint police/military operation headed by the Lottery Scam Task Force at a night club at the border of St Ann and Trelawny netted quite a catch.

According to the police, more than 130 persons, including ten women and two wanted men, were detained on Saturday morning. However, in what appeared quite bizarre, some of the big, muscular men, were daintily attired in sexy female clothing.

Many of these cross-dressers are said to be involved in the lottery scam.
Head of the Lottery Scam Task Force, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Leon Clunis, stated that the police thought that there were many females in the nightclub, "but in reality there were not more than 11 females; most of them were males dressed as females."

Clunis, in an interview with the Gleaner, added, "We have no interest in one's sexuality or sexual preference, we are dealing with crime and criminality in general. As long as it is committed, we are coming after you."

Several motor vehicles and over 100 cellular phones were also seized in the operation, which was conducted at a club on the outskirts of Discovery Bay in St. Ann.
The police also confiscated an imitation firearm, machetes, knives, scissors, three laptops, and an undisclosed quantity of ganja.

According to the police, based on intelligence that lottery scammers were having a party, the joint team went to the club around 4am and conducted a cordon and search exercise. They say a number of the individuals who have been taken into custody will be processed and released.

Push a Yute does Sexy

2012 seems like the year for women in the Push A Yute Production camp. It looks like the camp has their females at the forefront, but why? It is being said that the production company is looking to produce and release a range of sexual orientated songs that will bring out the many joys of being in bed, the physical attractions that comes with love making and also all the emotions tied in with women and how they view sex and relationships.
One single has already been released from this grown and sexy style mind set, “Woman” on the “Krazy Love” album by Daville (co produced by Fashozy), its been getting great response from the public. Already on MTV Base Africa & especially from those who are into the authentic "Grown And Sexy" style of music its creating a serious buzz.
Many top acts such as, Munga, Supa Hype and international group Voicemail will be working alongside the production company to produce and release their own “Grown and Sexy” style songs.
This sexual mindset will cause a lot of jaws to drop and have many people asking where Push A Yute went.
Realistically they didn’t really go anywhere, but decided to take their music to the “Grown Ups” who can appreciate good authentic sultry music.

Yohan Blacke Beats Bolt in 9.75 secs

A new National Record by Shelly-Ann-Fraser Pryce and a new personal best from World champion Yohan Blake highlighted last night's festival of speed on the second night of the JAAA/ Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships at the National Stadium.

Fraser-Pryce powered to a blistering 10.70 seconds, beating her old 10.73 seconds to retain her title, while Blake was devastating as he destroyed a brilliant field that included World Record holder Usain Bolt to win in 9.75 seconds.

Both times were world leading performances as the Jamaicans sent a message they will be hard to beat at the Olympics later this year in London.

Veronica Campbell Brown was second in the women's race in a season's best 10.82 seconds and Kerron Stewart third in 10.94 seconds.

Bolt, who complained about his start, was second in 9.86 seconds after catching a faststarting Asafa Powell, who was third in 9.88 seconds.

Earlier in the semi-finals Powell who had just recently flown to Miami to seek treatment on a groin injury, set the pace with an easy looking 9.92 seconds clocking looking over to Blake to his left during the final 20 metres of the race. Carter was second in 9.95 seconds and Blake third in 9.96 seconds

Bolt appeared to sit back in his semi-finals allowing Frater to set the pace, winning in 10.01 seconds. Bolt clocked 10.02, Lerone Clarke 10.0, and Jacques Harvey 10.08 seconds.

Sizzla Diss Snoop Dogg

Why oh Why Sizzla Diss Snoop Dogg???

While Sizzla may have his plate full dealing with a lyrical onslaught from Khago, the Judgement Yard deejay has turned his attention on rap legend Snoop Dogg.
In his new single “Burn Out Smithsonians,” released earlier this week on the Sickness Riddim, Kalonji takes a couple shots at Snoop Dogg, who is an avid follower of the Rastafarian culture.

“Nothing is right boy nothing is cool, who the rasscl–t Snoop Dogg a try fool, tell them seh a Selassie I rule, him can’t even get Selassie I stool,” Sizzla deejay.
It is not clear why Sizzla has taken on Snoop, however, the West Coast rapper was in Jamaica earlier this year, where he spent a lot of time with the Rastafarian elders. Snoop also expresses his admiration for Bob Marley and the Rastafarian faith.
